These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the purchase of products offered through www.parisigloves.it.
Please read them carefully before placing an order. By submitting an order through the Website, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, together with the policies expressly referred to herein.
Parisi Gloves products are handcrafted in our atelier in Naples, Italy. Many pieces are prepared or made after an order is received, while bespoke and personalised creations are made according to individually agreed specifications. The relevant conditions for each type of product are set out below.
These Terms are intended for consumers purchasing for personal use. Separate conditions may apply to wholesale, professional, theatrical or institutional orders.
1. Seller and scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “Terms”) govern purchases made through www.parisigloves.it (the “Website”) by consumers acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
The seller is Parisi Gloves S.r.l., with registered office at Via Amalfi 7, 80013 Casalnuovo di Napoli (NA), Italy; VAT number IT03555571219; registered with the Naples Companies Register, REA NA-616236; telephone +39 081 522 69 12; customer care email care@parisigloves.it (the “Seller”, “Parisi Gloves”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms apply only to retail purchases made through the Website. Wholesale, trade, theatrical, institutional and other business-to-business orders are governed by the terms agreed separately with the customer.
By placing an order, the customer (the “Customer” or “you”) confirms that they have legal capacity to enter into the contract and have read and accepted these Terms and the policies expressly referred to in them. The version applicable to an order is the version available when that order is placed. Any later amendment will apply only to future orders.
2. Products and artisanal characteristics
Parisi Gloves products are handcrafted in Naples using natural materials and artisanal processes. Product descriptions, photographs, size information and other characteristics are presented as accurately as reasonably possible.
Natural leather, suede, shearling, fur and other natural materials may display subtle differences in grain, texture, shade or markings. Hand-cutting, hand-stitching and other artisanal processes may also produce minor variations between pieces. Such variations are intrinsic to natural materials and craftsmanship and, where consistent with the product description and normal quality standards, do not in themselves constitute a lack of conformity.
Colours may appear differently depending on the display and device used. This does not limit the Customer's statutory rights where the product materially differs from its description or agreed characteristics.
The Customer is responsible for selecting the desired model, size, colour, lining and other available options. Our size guide and customer care assistance are intended to support that choice but do not replace the Customer's own assessment of fit. Nothing in this paragraph limits rights arising from defective or non-conforming goods.
3. Made-to-order and personalised products
Many Parisi Gloves products are prepared or made only after an order is received. A product is not treated as personalised merely because production begins after the order or because the Customer selects standard catalogue options such as a listed size, colour or lining.
A “Personalised or Bespoke Product” is a product made to the Customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised, including, for example, products made to individual hand measurements or non-standard dimensions, products bearing initials or other personal markings, and products made with a non-standard combination, material, colour or construction specifically agreed with the Customer.
Personalised or Bespoke Products cannot be changed once production has begun and are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal to the extent permitted by Article 59(c) of the Italian Consumer Code. This exclusion does not affect the Customer's rights if the product is defective, damaged or does not conform to the agreed specifications.
4. Ordering process and conclusion of the contract
Before submitting an order, the Customer can review and correct the products, selected options, delivery address, billing information, shipping method and total price shown at checkout.
By activating the final order button, the Customer submits a binding order involving an obligation to pay and accepts these Terms. The automated acknowledgement displayed on the Website or sent by email confirms receipt of the order but does not prevent Parisi Gloves from carrying out reasonable payment, availability and fraud checks.
The contract is concluded when Parisi Gloves sends an order confirmation accepting the order to the email address provided by the Customer. The order confirmation, these Terms and the policies incorporated by reference form the contract and should be retained by the Customer.
We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailability of materials, an evident pricing or description error, failed or unauthorised payment, suspected fraud, restrictions affecting delivery, or quantities incompatible with personal use. If payment has already been collected, all amounts paid for the cancelled order will be refunded without undue delay to the original payment method.
Please contact care@parisigloves.it promptly if you wish to request a correction or cancellation. We will try to assist, but cannot guarantee that a change can be made after acceptance or after production or dispatch has begun. This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal applicable to the order.
5. Prices, taxes and payment
Product prices and the currency applicable to the selected market are displayed on the Website. Unless otherwise indicated, prices include VAT where VAT is applicable. Delivery charges and any other amount payable to Parisi Gloves are shown before the order is submitted.
For deliveries outside the relevant customs territory, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage charges and local levies may be imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, these amounts are not included in the price paid to Parisi Gloves and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Payment must be made using one of the methods offered at checkout. Payment services may be provided by independent payment providers under their own terms and security procedures. Parisi Gloves does not receive or store complete payment-card details where payment is processed directly by such providers.
Prices may be changed at any time, but changes do not affect orders already accepted. If a displayed price is manifestly incorrect, we will contact the Customer before accepting or fulfilling the order and may cancel it with a full refund if the Customer does not wish to proceed at the correct price.
6. Preparation, availability and delivery
Orders are prepared and shipped directly from our atelier in Naples, Italy. Preparation and delivery estimates shown on the product page or at checkout are indicative unless we expressly agree a guaranteed date in writing.
Delivery methods, rates, destinations, tracking and customs information are set out in our Shipping Policy which forms part of these Terms.
The Customer must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and a reachable telephone number. The Customer should notify us promptly of any error. Additional costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the Customer where permitted by law and where the error is attributable to the Customer.
If we become aware that delivery cannot be completed within the agreed time or, where no time was agreed, within the period required by applicable law, we will inform the Customer. The Customer retains all remedies available under mandatory consumer law, including the right, where the legal conditions are met, to set an additional appropriate period for delivery and subsequently terminate the contract.
For consumer deliveries, the risk of accidental loss or damage passes to the Customer when the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods. If the Customer independently appoints a carrier not offered by Parisi Gloves, risk passes upon delivery of the goods to that carrier, as provided by applicable law.
7. Right of withdrawal, returns and exchanges
Consumers have a statutory right to withdraw from eligible distance purchases without giving a reason within fourteen (14) days from the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by the Customer other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods. Where a single order is delivered in separate lots or pieces, the period runs from receipt of the last lot or piece.
Parisi Gloves may offer a longer commercial return period or complimentary exchange service under its Refund Policy. The conditions of any commercial benefit are additional to, and do not restrict, statutory rights. The Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
To exercise the statutory right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform Parisi Gloves S.r.l. at Via Amalfi 7, 80013 Casalnuovo di Napoli (NA), Italy, or care@parisigloves.it, by an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires. The model form in Appendix 1 may be used but is not mandatory.
The Customer must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after communicating withdrawal. Unless Parisi Gloves has offered to bear the return cost, the Customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods. The Customer is responsible only for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Where the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, Parisi Gloves will reimburse payments received for the returned goods and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered for the order, where required by law. Additional delivery costs resulting from the Customer's choice of a more expensive delivery method are not reimbursed. Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days after notice of withdrawal, using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed. We may withhold reimbursement until the goods are received or the Customer supplies evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to Personalised or Bespoke Products described in Section 3, or in any other case excluded by mandatory law. Return conditions must not be interpreted as excluding claims relating to defective, damaged or non-conforming goods.
8. Inspection, damage in transit and incorrect goods
The Customer should inspect the parcel and goods promptly after delivery. Visible damage, missing items or incorrect goods should be reported to care@parisigloves.it as soon as reasonably possible, preferably with photographs of the parcel, label and product, so that we can assist and make any necessary carrier claim.
Failure to report immediately does not remove any mandatory statutory right. The Customer should retain the packaging until the matter has been assessed where reasonably practicable.
9. Legal guarantee of conformity
Consumers are protected by the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Articles 128 to 135-septies of the Italian Consumer Code and any other mandatory law applicable to the contract. Parisi Gloves is responsible for a lack of conformity that exists when the goods are delivered and becomes apparent within the statutory period, which is generally two years from delivery for new goods.
Where goods lack conformity, the Customer may be entitled, without charge and subject to the statutory conditions, to repair or replacement and, where the legal requirements are met, to a proportionate reduction in price or termination of the contract. To make a claim, contact care@parisigloves.it with the order details and a description and, where useful, photographs of the issue.
The legal guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, failure to follow care instructions, unauthorised alteration or repair, or deterioration caused by improper storage or exposure, unless the issue is attributable to a lack of conformity existing at delivery. This does not affect the allocation of the burden of proof under mandatory law.
10. Website information and availability
We take reasonable care to keep the Website accurate and available. We may correct errors, update content, withdraw products or temporarily suspend access for maintenance or security. Such changes do not affect contracts already concluded, except where necessary to correct an evident error or comply with law and without prejudice to the Customer's mandatory rights.
The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our control, without prejudice to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Intellectual property and permitted use
The Website and its contents, including the Parisi name and marks, product names, designs, photographs, text, graphics and layout, are owned by or licensed to Parisi Gloves and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
The Customer may use the Website for personal, non-commercial shopping and may retain copies of order documents. No Website content may be reproduced, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or used to create derivative materials without prior written permission, except as permitted by mandatory law.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, or restricts any mandatory consumer right.
Subject to the preceding paragraph, Parisi Gloves is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was concluded, or for business losses incurred by a Customer acting as a consumer. We are not responsible for non-performance or delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, provided that we comply with applicable duties to inform the Customer and resume performance or offer the remedies required by law.
The Customer remains responsible for following product care instructions and using the products appropriately. Leather gloves are fashion accessories and are not protective equipment unless expressly described and certified as such.
13. Personal data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment and delivery providers may process data necessary to complete payment and fulfil delivery under their respective privacy notices and applicable law.
14. Complaints and alternative dispute resolution
For questions or complaints concerning an order, please contact care@parisigloves.it
Where applicable, a consumer may use an alternative dispute resolution body listed by the competent Italian authorities or by the European Commission. Information on recognised Italian consumer ADR bodies is available through the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The former European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is therefore not incorporated into these Terms.
15. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and contracts concluded through the Website are governed by Italian law. If the Customer habitually resides in another country, this choice of law does not deprive the Customer of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of that country that cannot be derogated from by agreement.
Any dispute may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. In particular, where the Customer qualifies as a consumer, the competent court is the court of the Customer's place of residence or domicile where required by mandatory consumer law. Any exclusive jurisdiction clause applicable only to non-consumer customers must be agreed separately.
16. General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid provision will be interpreted or replaced only to the minimum extent necessary to comply with applicable law.
A failure or delay by either party to exercise a right does not constitute a waiver of that right. These Terms, together with the order confirmation and the policies incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement relating to the online retail order.
These Terms are available in the languages offered on the Website. In the event of a discrepancy, no language version will be interpreted so as to deprive a consumer of mandatory rights. The Customer may save or print the version accepted at checkout.
